Weekender

WOO HOO Weekend! Hey Dealers, the weekend is finally upon us again! (Doesn't the week after a long weekend always feel like FORE-EV-AHHH?

So, what's up around town this weekend?

12/4 & 12/5 -Let's face it, the BIG fun and frugal event of the holiday season is the Parade of Lights, which snakes through Downtown twice this weekend, Friday starting at 8pm and Saturday at 6. This was one of my favorite things to do with my family when I was just a wee little Dealer searching for fun and free family frolics with my folks. It is going to be a chilly one, so bundle the kids up like Ralphie's little brother and head downtown to watch their eyes light up as the city does too.
Sponsored by 9 news, lots of great information is available on their website here.

Pick a new 'hood each First Friday:

Tennyson Street Cultural District
River North Art District
ArtDistrict On Santa Fe
Cherry Creek North

12/5 - Leave it to The Waldorf School in Cherry Creek to bundle all the holiday joy you and the family could ask for into one fabulous Holiday Fair and be so organized about it that nothing is missing. (See the website if you don't believe me)
This Saturday the school hosts the Holiday Fair, with free admission, lots of shopping, all kinds of activities for the family and the kiddos (you can even get your holiday portraits done there!) They will have music and and puppet shows and holiday magic galore. If it is all too much for your little one, you can stop off in the quiet room and decompress. AND, as you leave, you can even buy your Christmas tree and get it strapped to the roof of the front-wheel-drive sleigh!
:::dusting off hands:::
Voila, Christmas magic overload, all in one day.
