Happy Friday, Dealers!! The weekend is going to be blessedly scorching, meaning I can get in some pool time in between getting the kitchen back in working order after this week's new counter installation!

8/21- In the Northern 'burbs, the always-a-blast Chris Daniels plays the Orchard Concert Series Friday evening starting at 6pm, at the Orchard Town Center. Check out the website for details of the family-friendly concert series.

8/21- Or if downtown is what you have in mind, it is the last weekend of the summer for Music at the Bottom, at the Rock Bottom Brewery on the 16th st mall. And they saved the best for last, with Beki Hemingway going on at 5pm as the opener for the amazing voice of Hazel Miller who takes the stage at 7pm. Grab all the info here.

8/22 - This Saturday the kiddos can participate in a free Build and Grow clinic at local Lowes locations. Pre-registration is required, you can view the craft (a cool wooden school bus) and sign up here.

8/22- The Peach Festival will be in full swing in Lafayette on Saturday, with arts and crafts, antiques, entertainment, and of course, PEACHES from Palisade. Details on the location and events are here.

8/21-8/23 - A new festival comes to Cherry Creek this weekend, Cherry Creek North Food and Wine features a full weekend of ticketed events for the well-funded culinary aficionados, as well as 2 days of free cooking demos for the unwashed masses such as myself.
