Weekender

TGIF, Dealers - welcome to the weekend!
I, for one, am pooped.... any time I get on the sofa this weekend will be well-appreciated, I can tell you that. It will also be limited. Fabulous bff T scored some of the girls half price tickets to the Botanic Gardens Holiday Sale preview party, so I will be checking that out this evening with a few of my favorite friends and getting my Christmas shop on; tomorrow SHOULD be a cooking and cleaning frenzy (we shall see,) and Sunday it is off to Highlands Ranch for brunch at beautiful M's place (God willing and the show piles don't rise TOO much.)
What about you? Here's a few suggestions!

11/13-11/15 -BTW, if you want to check out the Botanic Gardens Holiday Sale (or the gardens themselves, as they dip into their peaceful Fall slumber,) the sale and the gardens are free this weekend (Saturday and Sunday), so go stock up on great gift ideas and wander thru the chilly garden to get you in a festive mood.

11/13 -Denver Arts "Week" is actually 10 days, meaning it runs through Saturday evening. Belmar Block 7 Arts District is hosting an art walk filled with works inspired by Japanese gardens. Check their website for all the info, and use the Denver Arts Week website's interactive events search feature to find out what else is going on during the final weekend.

11/13 - Aurora helps Denver celebrate Arts Week with its own art walk in the East End Art District this evening from 5:00-9:00pm. Start at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Library/Municipal Services Center info stop, 9898 E. Colfax Ave and grab a map of the 16 block district to help you on our self-guided tour, stop off at Shadow Theatre Company to watch part of a rehearsal and grab some Hot Cider, and pick your own route and pace through the District. Want more info? Here is the event website.
