Weekender

It truly is a beautiful day in the neighborhood, Denver!  Sunny and 60 degrees in January?  Oh Mile High City, how I love thee!!
It looks like we are heading for a cool down by Sunday, but there are plenty of great fun and frugal things  to do around town both inside and outdoors.

Head's Up!
As many of you probably already know, the Denver Public Library is currently partway though a week long closure of all branches due to upgrades to their systems.  The library offers so many fun and fabulous activities and resources free of charge, I am sure we all can't wait for the (new and improved) libraries to open again on Feb 3rd.

They also do fun events at the rink - see the full schedule here!

  1. If anyone is up for a little road trip, Breckenridge is, again, hosting the Budweiser International Snow Sculpture Championships. Take a look at what 15 teams from 8 countries (Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Mexico, the Netherlands, Sweden and the United States) are able to sculpt with 20 ton blocks of packed snow.

Sculptures "live" in the area around the Riverwalk Center grounds at 150 West Adams Avenue, Breckenridge, CO 80424.
